“I want this Jesus. This Jesus that I can talk to. This Jesus that can renounce lies that I am carrying. Lies that God would only use me just a little bit, because I was pregnant at 19, divorced by 30. Like that’s messy.
Our small group really helped me renounce those lies. ‘No, God loves you. Jesus loves you.’ That’s when I really started to go on fire for Jesus.”
